TOO MANY CATS/KITTENS - ALL Running out of Time.
It’s Kitten Season & many kittens are going to shelters & going to Heaven too soon because the lack of room at shelters. Kittens’ lives being cut short is a people problem, not a shelter problem.

Reasons for so many kittens losing their lives:
1. People not spaying/neutering.
2. People bringing the litters to the shelter, assuming that it is a no kill shelter.
3. People not thinking about if it is a kill shelter.
4. People abandoning their cats when they move.
5. People thinking that cats can survive just fine on their own.
6. People not taking time out of their lives to sterilize even when they have the money.
7. People thinking of cats as a dime a dozen like things, not living feeling creatures.
8. People trying to care for discarded pets and not having any help or money to stop them from reproducing.
9. People not thinking about how a tiny little life, is going to experience how scary & terrifying it is for them to be put in a 24” x 22” cage until they run out of time due to lack of space.
Bonham made the World Record for 1 of the cats who had the most litters in 1952:
Dusty Bonham, Texas 420 Born 1935, last litter on 12 June 1952
Averages 25 kittens per year after sexual maturity.
Are we supposed to be proud of that since now it is worse & these kittens are get euthanized?
Please spay/neuter your cats/kittens; please search for help if you need it. Fannin Friends of County Critters, Oklahoma Spay/Neuter Network, BAS Volunteer Program Transport to Ok Spay Network, friends & community, call local vets in Fannin County to see if they have Low Spay/Neuter Specials.
