Bonham -- The Fannin County Sports Hall of Fame will honor the 1969 Bonham High School football team at the annual Hall of Fame Banquet slated 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8 in the Bailey Inglish Cafeteria.

The 1969 Warriors beat Burleson in bi-district and knocked off Ennis in the quarterfinals before falling to Gordon Wood's Brownwood Lions in state semifinals.

In the years that followed, Southwest Conference rosters were dotted with outstanding athletes from this team and three members of the '69 Warriors went on to play in the NFL.

Adult tickets for the banquet are $12 and
children's tickets (12 & under) are $7.
