Denison -- Are you looking for a day of wholesome family fun on Monday? How about some great food?
Downtown Denison will host a Memorial Day Parade on Main Street and delicious food at the annual Taste of Texoma event at the Piazza Building.
Taste of Texoma, sponsored by the Clara Blackford & W. Aubrey Smith Foundation, will feature great food, music, kid's activities, and local crafts -- you will find it all!
This traditional event is in its 16th year and will be held at Piazza Building, 506 W. Chestnut Street (the old Safeway store) next to Denison City Hall.

Taste of Texoma will be held Monday, May 27 and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the Memorial Day Parade at 1:00 p.m.
Thanks to our sponsor, the Smith Family Foundation, admission is free. Tasting tickets are just $1 and most tastes cost just 1 ticket.
There are several other new features this year. Vote for your favorite restaurant. They may win the "People's Choice Award" and a fabulous trophy. Your vote will enter you into a drawing for a door prize. You could win a Snapp Digital Camcorder, quilt rack, or one of many other great prizes.
Raffles are fun, right! Our attending restaurants and others have donated gift cards, free dinners (and who doesn't like a free dinner) and other goodies. Raffle chances are just $2 each or 3 for $5.
Best of all, Taste of Texoma benefits the children at the Boys & Girls Club.
