Van Alstyne, Texas -- Graveside services for Gerald Lay, 76, of Van Alstyne will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.

Gerald passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Traditions Senior Living Center in Sherman, Texas. He is survived by his son, Greg Lay of Frisco, Texas. Daughter, April Adams of Sherman, Texas. Sister, Joyce Gracy of Rockwall, Texas. 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
