Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Dollie Mae Bowie of Bonham, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church, 219 West Denison, Bonham, TX. The burial will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Officiating will be Pastor Henry Shelton.

Mrs. Bowie passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 27, in Honey Grove, TX.

She is survived by two daughters, Marita Miller and husband Ray Miller of Denison, TX, Debra Kay Ulmer and husband Kurt Ulmer of Bonham, TX, daughter-in-law, Kathy Bowie of Alexandria, LA; grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul Kyle, Stephanie Liebel, Brandt Hunter Ulmer, Sara Britt Jackson, TeraDeann Butler, Leslie Michelle Bowie and Leisha Katherine Bowie; 15 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings JoAnn Munger and husband Bill, Wanda Bowie, Lois Sanders, Jerry Sanders and wife Shirley, Doug Sanders and wife Brenda and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Bowie was preceded in death by husband, Eiland Bowie, son, Travis Bowie, and two brothers, S.L. Sanders and Richard Sanders.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Kyle, Brandt Ulmer, Bennie Bowie, Landon Liebel, Darrell Sanders, Matt Robertson, Terry Miller, and Jarrett Munger.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with funeral immediately following, Wednesday afternoon at Trinity Baptist Church in Bonham.

Mrs. Bowie was a loving and faithful servant of our Lord and Savior. She leaves this life only to start a new and abundant life in Heaven. Dollie was a treasured daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She showed us how to endure in times of trials and tribulations, and how to always lean on our Father, Jesus Christ. She will be missed and loved eternally.
