The week of May 5-11, 2013 is National Correctional Officer's Week.  This week is specifically set aside to highlight the work of hundreds of thousands of dedicated corrections and jail professions across the nation.
 
On April 26, 2013, Bonham City Mayor Roy Floyd signed a proclamation in support of our local prison and jail employees.

The proclamation designates, recognizes and honors this week of appreciation and remembrance of these public servants in Bonham, Texas.
 
The public is invited to attend the annual memorial ceremony that honors those correctional and jail staff that lost their lives in the line of duty during 2012. 

The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Multi-Purpose Complex.
