Residents of North Texas and southern Oklahoma are urged to use caution with outdoor fires Sunday, according to information released by National Weather Service.

While winds are forecast to be light and variable, relative humidity is expected to drop to between 20%-30%, which creates concerns for outdoor burning.

Although recent rains have produced some new green growth, dangerous conditions remain in places where abundant fuel remains in the form of tall, dead grass and fallen tree limbs.
