Murlen Agnes (Kemph) Sass was born on August 20, 1923 in Fond-du-lac, WI to Benjamin and Delsina (Gear) Kemph. She married Roland L. Sass on January 28, 1942 in Waukegan, IL; he preceded her in death on February 22, 1986. Mary was a housewife and of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by daughters-Barbara Newhouse and Sharon Keopke and husband Lloyd; sons-Darrell Sass, Larry Sass, and Terry Sass and wife Linda; brothers-Gerald Menning, and Russell Menning; daughter-in-law Linda Sass; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry Sass, and sister, Betty Dodi.

Serving as pallbearers will be Karla Starnes, Brandon Coffey, and Stephen Sass.

No formal visitation will be held.
