Economic Development Executive Director

Direct economic development initiatives to achieve the goals
and objectives outlined by the Bonham Economic Development Corporation Board. Direct Bonham Tourism events, publicity
and publications. Supervise support personnel. Supervise maintenance of all Economic Development Corporation properties.  Attend meetings of organizations to which the Bonham Economic Development and the Bonham Tourism Association belong. Plan for and actively carry out the promotion of City of Bonham. Attend travel and trade shows to promote Bonham.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with 4A and 4B corporations; Proven track record in economic development with documented results; Ability to prepare grant proposals, applications, contracts and other necessary documents; Documented experience in media communication including
web site, social media and print publications; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or 3 to 5 years of
increasingly responsible professional experience in economic
development; Economic Development certification (CEcD)
preferred; A valid Class C Texas drivers license or be able to
obtain license within 30 days of hire; Experience with Hotel
Occupancy Tax regulations.
