Program chairman, Dr. John Egstad had as his speaker, Ian Carey from the Carey Hearing Centers here in Bonham. Mr. Carey, whose father and grandfather were also licensed hearing aid fitters and dispensers, explained the workings of the ear from the mastoid bone to the cochlea. His program drew such interest from the group, that after the meeting members were still talking with Carey. Hearing tests are free at Carey Hearing Centers. Mr. Carey is also Bonham Kiwanis’ newest member.
