Cast set for Sherman Community Players' Fiddler on the Roof

Director Anthony Nelson has finalized his cast for Fiddler on the Roof, his directorial debut as the new Artistic Director for Sherman Community Players.

Rounding out the cast of 31 will be:  Jeffrey Hermann as the dairy farmer Tevye, Amy Sojai as his dedicated wife Golde, his daughters will be played by:  Micaela Hoops, Hilary Gregory-Allen, Abby Noblett, Amelia Tomlinson, and Sophie Hermann.  Newcomer Diana Adair will be double-cast as Yente and Fuma Sarah.  Jerry Gundersheimer will play the role of Lazar Wolf and John Lonnevick is returning to the SCP stage as the Constable. 

Other familiar favorites are also on board:  Roger Gregory-Allen has agreed to be the ‘fiddler’, reprising the role that he played at Austin College.  Others featured will be:  Lisa Hebert, Paul Jordan, Blake Rice, Noah Scheibmeir, Cory Taylor, Matt Maxwell, Noah Marshall, Elaine Dalke, Lew Cohn, and Bob Entrekin. 

Members making up the beautifully sounding ensemble are:  Megan McCullough, Deborah Barrax, Lacey Wesson, Kathryn McGinness, Jeff Sutton, Madison Sisemore, Lucinda Laro, Martha Burkhart, Greg Dalke, Steve Byrd, Saxon McTee, Dylan Osborne, and Jeffery Sutton. 

Musical direction by Fred Freeman, choreography by Amy Wallace, costume by Tammi Daubenspark, and the overall production will be stage managed by Joni Friend and Tana Payne. 

Steve Black of Grayson College has also accepted to create and build a twelve foot puppet, for the production.
