Home Hospice Auxiliary’s annual Spring Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wright Center at Austin College in Sherman. President Beth Williams “invites the community to come and learn more about the Home Hospice Auxiliary organization and enjoy a wonderful spring luncheon.”
The speaker for this year’s luncheon is Chef Darren McGrady, author of the book Eating Royally. He was the Royal Chef for 15 years for Queen Elizabeth II, Price of Wales Charles and Princess of Wales Diana as well as Prince William and Prince Harry. He has also cooked for five U.S. Presidents and is a captivating speaker who will talk of his experiences in cooking for royalty and famous persons.

The Home Hospice Auxiliary’s primary goals are to provide support to Home Hospice by aiding in community education, supporting the staff in a variety of ways as well as informing others in our community of the work of Home Hospice and the Home Hospice Auxiliary.
Event Chairperson Sue Malnory says, “It is hard to believe you can have so much fun while doing so much good! We are so excited about having the Royal Chef at our luncheon – we hope that the event will help everyone realize the importance of Home Hospice services to our community. Don’t wait, there are a limited number of tickets available.”
Luncheon tickets for the event are $35 per person and a reserved table for eight people is $300. Please contact Barb Samuelson at Home Hospice, 903-868-9315, or email her at barb.samuelson@homehospice.org if you have questions or would like to purchase a ticket.
You may find more information about the luncheon and purchase tickets on our website, www.homehospice.org.
