The Trenton Tigers defeated a tough Muenster team 4-3 Saturday to claim third place in their tournament. Trenton finished second in their pool after a 7-3 loss to Caddo Mills on Friday afternoon.
Trenton finished the game with 4 hits and 1 error while Muenster had 5 hits and 1 error.
Bailey Burks got the start and picked up the win for Trenton. Branden Stone Came in and did a great job of holding the lead in relief.
Dylan McCarley got a big 2-out, 2 RBI single in the 2nd inning. Garrett Puyear got the inning started with a single following Cody Lambright's walk. Wyatt Beezley and Branden Stone also got a hit each for Trenton.
Trenton will be back in action Tuesday as they travel to Blue Ridge at 6:30 to begin district play.
