The Dodd City Lady Hornets will advance to the area round of the playoffs with a 42-32 win over Saint Jo.  The Lady Hornets were down after the first period, 7-2, but came back strong in the second quarter, going into half up 14-11.  The offense kept rolling for Dodd City outscoring Saint Jo 16-11 in the third period, taking a 30-22 lead into the final quarter. 

The Lady Hornets went a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the last minute of the game to take the 42-32 win. 

Briann Hilliard, Katelynn Woodlee, Keeshia Thompson and Jenna Wallace all had 8 points each, Christi Petty added 6 points and Stephanie Wolter had 4 points.

The Lady Hornets will face Coolidge in the area round at site and time TBD.
