Royse City -- The Savoy Lady Cardinals pick a win against Honey Grove at the Ernie Wilson Playoff Preview.  Savoy got on top early as Whitney Cooke and Bailey McGehee combined for twelve points to take 14-6 lead in the first quarter.  Caitlin McClain scored nine points in the second quarter to help the Lady Cardinals extend the lead to 27-12 at the half.  Cooke paced the Savoy in third as she hit three from downtown as her fourteen, third quarter points allowed them took a 46-19 lead.  The Lady Cards finished strong a the end as they came away with the 60-27 victory. 

Whitney Cooke led all scorers with 21 points, 9 assists, 6 steals, and 5 rebounds.  Caitlin McClain finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds.  Bailey McGehee contributed 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.  Linda Leyser tossed in 5 points and Emily Cornell hit for 4 points.

The Lady Cardinals are now 21-7 on the year and await the winner of Bynum and Milford.
