A training and testing opportunity for individuals interested in obtaining a Private Pesticide Applicator License has been scheduled for Tuesday February 28, 2012. The License is required for purchasing and applying restricted use pesticides (herbicides, insecticides) on your property.  The training/Testing will be held at the Dodd City Community Center (City Hall) at 304 S Caney St, Dodd City, Texas.  

 Training will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the test will be administered following the training.  The test will be administered by a  Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) representative.  The license is good for 5 years.  During the 5 years, license holders will be required to obtain 15 continuing education units to maintain their license.
