The Dodd City Lady Hornets clinched the third-place spot in District 18-A with a 61-12 win against the Fannindel Lady Falcons. 

The Lady Hornets were up 20-5 at the end of the first quarter, 35-9 at the half and 49-9 after the third quarter. 

Briann Hilliard led Dodd City with 11 rebounds and 22 points, Jenna Wallace netted 18 points, Christi Petty and Katelynn Woodlee each added 6, Stephanie Wolter had 4 and Misty Goodin and Keeshia Thompson had 2 apiece. 

The Lady Hornets will wrap up district play at Miller Grove on Tuesday night with JV boys starting at 5:00.
