DURANT, Okla. – Updates on financial aid, Native American student services, and working with student-athletes were among the topics discussed Monday at a high school counseling workshop at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Fifteen counselors from Oklahoma and Texas attended the workshop, held on the Southeastern campus and sponsored by the University’s Office of Enrollment Management.
In addition, the counselors received information on best practices for concurrent enrollment. After presentations from faculty and staff members, the group toured the facilities of the aviation, biology, fisheries & wildlife, and pre-med programs.
