DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern officially put the 2011 season in the rear-view mirrors and took its first steps ahead to 2012 as it signed 23 new student athletes to the Savage Storm family on national signing day, Wednesday afternoon.

The offense got the majority of help with 14 new additions, highlighted by seven new offensive lineman, while the defense added six new players while three other singees come with backgrounds on both sides of the ball and will work to find a position down the road.

SE also recruited the Texoma area strong, adding a pair of athletes from the state-champion Caddo High School squad, as well as crossing the Red River to land two players from Collinsville, Texas, and one from Honey Grove, Texas.

As these new additions complete their senior years in high school this semester, the Storm will turn its attention to Spring Football on March 27.
