Downtown Denison is celebrating Valentines with a twist.

Downtown Denison Inc. and the Main Street Advisory Board have worked with businesses to put together two $500 cash giveaways and a Valentines Window Giveaway. The excitement all ends with drawings at opening night of the Rialto Theatre on February 14.

The Rialto will be showing Dirty Dancing at 7:30 p.m. on Valentines, and tickets are only $2 each. They can be purchased at Main Street Mall, 500 W. Main, or Shine on Main, 506 W. Main, in downtown Denison. Attendees are encouraged to dine in downtown Denison prior to the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. A list of featured businesses are shown on Denison Main Street’s Facebook page.

The merchandise and gift certificates to be given away can be seen at Texoma Ultrasound at 414 W. Main in downtown Denison. Shoppers may enter while looking for just the right Valentines gift for their sweetheart. Whether you want something creative or traditional, you can find it downtown. The winner of the window display need not be present to win, and there is no charge or purchase necessary to enter. The only requirement is a visit to a participating business.  The participants will also be listed on Facebook.

For the cash giveaways, $500 will be given to a male and $500 to a female just prior to the movie. You must be present at the movie to win the cash prizes.
