Billy Shaw, 63, of Honey Grove passed away Wed., Jan. 25, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove, Texas. Rev. Terry Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow at McCraws Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Shaw, Shawn Roe, Louie Williams, Matthew Clark, Dustin Simpson, Dustin Phillips, James Michael Shaw and Marcus Maroney.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012.

Billy Allen Shaw was born Nov. 25, 1948 in Celina, Texas to his parents, Billy Joe Shaw and Julia Mae Burden Shaw. He married Sharon Cooper July 26, 1968 in Celina, Texas. Bill was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Shaw, Jan. 20, 1997.

Mr. Shaw is survived by his loving wife, Sharon of the home, Mother, Julia Shaw of Honey Grove, TX; Sons, Billy Don Shaw and wife, Malinda of Honey Grove, TX; Gary Wayne Shaw of Honey Grove; Daughter, Patricia Ann Massey and Husband, Eddie of Honey Grove, TX; Brother, James O. Shaw and wife Grace of Honey Grove and Sister, Annette Simpson of Honey Grove. Four Grandchildren, Billy Ray Shaw, Cristie Shaw, Elisabeth Fite and Morgan Massey. Three Great Grandchilden, Billy Ray Shaw, Jr., Emilee Lynn Massey and Wrangler Roe and several nieces, nephews and special cousin, J.W. West.
