Bells -- The Bells Panthers still have a chance to make it to the state playoffs after defeating the Howe Bulldogs, 54-42, Tuesday night in Bells, Texas.
Senior Bud Pedigo was hot in the opening minutes, shooting left-handed and then shooting right-handed. The Panthers raced out to an 11-1 lead.
Hayden Johnson drained three-pointers back-to-back and Bells never looked back.
The Bells varsity Lady Panthers lost a heartbreaker to Howe, 37-34, after leading most of the game.
Bells JV boys Panthers won in a hard fought game over the Howe Bulldogs, 40-35.
