If you do, then get ready for the Chili Cook Off on February 25 in Ector. It will be filled with tasty chilies, good music, and luscious deserts.  Is your chili the best one in the area? Let’s find out if others agree.

Chili entries will be judged and CASH prizes awarded. First place garners $25, second place $15 and third $10. If you don’t have a chili recipe just come by and sample all the entries.

The Ector Cafetorium will open for diners at 5 pm with only a $5 admission for adults and $3 for children under twelve.
Once your palate is sated with chili come over to the deserts for something sweet. That’s right; in addition to chili we will be having a dessert bake contest. Fruity, gooey, crunchies, full of crumbs, whipped cream toppings; we’ll have them all and more. If you have a dessert, your neighbors and friends rave about; enter it in the desert bake contest. We’ll have CASH prizes for the deserts too. Same as for the chili, $25 for first place, $15 for second, and $10 for third.

Whether you fancy yourself a master chili chef or a gourmet pastry chef or just someone who knows good food, don’t miss this fun event. Ector Beautification Association is proud to sponsor the Chili Cook Off and Bake Off February 25th.
