McKINNEY, Texas  – The McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is partnering with the Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney at Craig Ranch for a second year to present WinterBlast. The free event promotes the start of a healthy year for all McKinney residents.  

WinterBlast will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney from noon to 4 p.m. Families are invited to come out and ice skate from noon to 2 p.m., visit vendor booths and enjoy many of the other exciting recreation activities offered throughout the event.

Watch ice skating exhibitions, have fun playing games on the ice, build a snowman, or enjoy arts and crafts. Vendors will provide educational and safety awareness information.
