The Dodd City Lady Hornets kicked off the Leonard Holiday Tournament with a win over the Anna Lady Coyotes. 

The Lady Hornets went up 8-4 at the end of the first but Anna stayed close going into the half 17-12.  In the third quarter the Lady Hornets extended the lead 30-22 and finished on top 47-36. 

Briann Hilliard led Dodd City with 16 points, Keeshia Thompson had 10, Katelynn Woodlee 9, Misty Goodin and Jenna Wallace each had 6.  The Lady Hornets will face Leonard at 7:00 p.m. tonight.
