Honey Grove -- A balanced scoring attack helped the Honey Grove Warriors defeat the Caddo Mills Foxes, 53-48. Jeremy Patt, Darius Brown and Charles Sanders all scored in double figures for the Warriors, with Patt throwing in 13 points, Brown dropping in a dozen points and Sanders putting in 10 points.
Honey Grove controlled the action in the opening period to go up 15-8 at the first buzzer. The Warriors led 25-17 at intermission and 42-31 going into the fourth quarter.
Caddo Mills outscored Honey Grove 17-11 in the fourth quarter, however the Warriors held on for a five-point win, 53-48.
