McKinney –  Lone Star Wine Cellars' holiday fundraiser in downtown McKinney on December 10 raised $5,000 in cash and a host of children's gifts for Community Lifeline Center in McKinney. The festive evening featured a drawing for the Grand Prize Gift Basket and entertainment by Crystal Yates and John Griffith. 

Deanna Ross, Lone Star Wine Cellars owner, and Ron Ross, President and CEO of SRS Acquisition Corporation announced each company will match the donations received from Lone Star wine club members, customers, and staff.

“I am always amazed by the remarkable generosity of our customers in supporting local causes,” said Deanna Ross, “and I also want to thank the downtown McKinney merchants for the items donated to the impressive Grand Prize,” she added.   

“On behalf of the Community Lifeline Center family we are most thankful for the wondrous generosity expressed by the Lone Star Wine Cellar staff and patrons,” said Christin Hockin-Boyd, Director. “I believe that a community stands tallest when it kneels to offer a helping hand and that is exactly what happened at this event. People heard and understood the need; gave graciously from their heart; which simply allows Community Lifeline Center to do our job even better and that is providing HELP, giving HOPE, and providing it HERE.”
