McKinney -- The McKinney Lions raced out to a 24-6 lead in the first quarter only to watch the McKinney North Bulldogs' offense score 28 unanswered points while the Bulldogs defense shut out the Lions for the remainer of the District 10-4A contest.

McKinney North had two running backs with over 100 yards rushing -- Selwyn Smith had a game-high 135 yards and Devin Smith had the second best output with 115 yards.

McKinney North signal caller Hunter Walling finished the night 9-of-19 for 135 yards, including touchdown strikes to Evan Jones and Marc Bresnahan.

McKinney quarterback Robert Somborn connected with Quentin Casner on two touchdown passes and Connor Fuentes hauled in a TD pass from T.V. Williams. 

McKinney North (4-3, 2-2) will be at Highland Park next Friday, October 21, while McKinney (0-7, 0-4) will host Richardson Pearce.
