SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College senior volleyball player Jessi Fleming has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Fleming, a middle from Lucas, led the ‘Roos to a 4-0 weekend at the SCAC West/East Divisional in San Antonio to help Austin College move into third place in the conference. Fleming led the team with an average of 4.25 kills per set and a .445 hitting percentage, and added 13 total blocks during the tournament. Fleming leads the ‘Roos and is among the SCAC leaders in all three categories for the season.
