Bonham -- On Friday night, September 2, the Creative Arts Center in Bonham Texas hosted a "Salute to the Artist" and "Meet the Artists Night."
The weather outside was cool and so was the Creative Arts Center. A large crowd gathered on Friday, Sept. 2 to "Meet the Artist" members of the Creative Arts Center.
This was a special night at the Center and a time to salute the artists for all their hard work they have done throughout the year. This wonderful evening of art greeted the visitors and guests with new pieces which will be on display at the Gallery for three more weeks.
You can enjoy watercolors, acrylics, pastel, photography, oils, bronze, fewelry, wood works, pottery, glitterflops, sculpture, textiles, and much more. Each artist member exhibited new works of art along with the exchanging of techniques, ideas, and resources.
The Center is privileged to have such talent from all over Texas, and Southern Oklahoma.
Another elegant work of art which was the climax for the evening was the wonderful food presentation by the Hospitality Committee consisting of Carole Stubsten, Janet Weber, Sally Delk, Sharon Eaton, Linda Hall, JoEllen Clardy, Sue Taylor, and Margaret Bradshaw.
