The Leonard Police Department is investigating a one (1) vehicle rollover fatality accident in which two (2) teens died.  The accident occurred on FM 896 approx. 2 miles north of Leonard on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at approx. 6:59 p.m.  The vehicle was traveling northbound when it topped a crest, became air born causing the driver to loose control.  The vehicle rolled several times resulting in one passenger being ejected. 

Alexandria Hilliard, 16 of Dodd City and Zachary Kelton, 19 of Ector were pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Alan Hale.

The driver, Brandon Richards, 19 of Ector and Passenger Briann Hilliard, 15 of Dodd City were both careflighted to Parkland Hospital for injuries.

The Leonard Police Department and Texas DPS are continuing the investigation at this time.
