DALHART — Four communities and many households along the highways between them will be a part of this year’s XIT Trail of Sales on June 4, said a Texas AgriLife Extension Service agent.

The annual XIT Trail of Sales is sponsored by AgriLife Extension and the Dalhart Area Chamber of Commerce, said Megan Becking, the AgriLife Extension family and consumer sciences agent serving both Dallam and Hartley counties.

The 75 miles of yard sales, garage sales and flea markets will stretch from Channing via state Highway 385 to Hartley then via state Highway 87 to Dalhart and Texline, Becking said.

Sales will begin at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m., she said. Those planning to go shopping can download a list of sale locations from www.dalhart.org after May 30.
