The annual Arts & Wine Renaissance expanded to a 3-day affair this year in Downtown Denison.
One new feature was Thursday evening’s Downtown Open Late which will include an art walk, retail shopping, wine tastings, and the opportunity to view loft apartments.
Another addition included Friday evenings’ educational gourmet dinner & wine pairing.
The Main Event will continue to showcase Denison’s art and wine businesses with food and both a live and silent auction. The addition of a Dance Expo will feature Images of Dance students and special guests.
The Main Event is Saturday, April 30 at 7 p.m. This annual event at the Katy Depot will feature Texas Wines, local foods, a live DJ, dancing expo, silent and live auctions, and a regional art show inside the historic Katy Depot. This is also a ticketed event with proceeds benefiting downtown improvements. The evening includes the Sister Cities Cognac tasting booth.

This is the 15th year for the event that showcases Denison's unique cultural heritage. General Admittance tickets to the event are $30, but VIP tickets and sponsorships are also available at varying rates beginning at $200.
This year's art show promises to be a diverse exhibit of artworks from artists across the greater Texoma area. Student, amateur, and professional artists alike will be represented and styles ranging from traditional to contemporary will be on display. No matter what your preference, there will be something for everyone with mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed-media, and more.
Many artworks in the exhibit will be for sale, and artworks will also be available for purchase at the live and silent auctions held during the evening of April 30.
