Wylie, TX – Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at approximately 3:00 P.M., Wylie emergency personnel responded to a major accident in the 4000 block of N. Hwy 78. 

The driver of the motorcycle, 57-year-old William Morgan of Plano,TX, was transported by Careflite to Methodist Dallas Medical Center.  Morgan was pronounced dead at approximately 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the hospital. 

Morgan was traveling southbound on N. Hwy 78 on the Eastfork Bridge.  He attempted to avoid collision with a vehicle that drifted into his lane of travel.   The incident is currently under investigation.
