The Cumby Trojans slowly pulled away for a 30-0 win over the Savoy Cardinals Friday.
The Cardinals limited the Trojans to only six points in the first quarter, but Cumby scored 17 points in the second period to head to the locker room with a 23-0 lead at the break.
Cumby managed one touchdown in the third period and that turned out to be the final points of the evening, giving the Trojans a 30-0 victory.
Savoy's Aaron Dugger completed 7-of-16 passes for 91 yards
Taylor Bigbee had one reception for 40 yards, Adam Musser hauled in a pair of passes for 19 yards, Dylan Foster snagged two passes for eight yards, Austin Worley grabbed one pass for 15 yards and Kaine Vaughn was on the receiving end of two passes for nine yards.
On the ground, Aaron Dugger was the workhorse for Savoy, finishing with 14 carries for 74 yards.
Adam Musser had 25 yards on one carry, Kevin Gaddy picked up seven yards on three rushes and Dylan Foster had four carries for six yards.
Korey Bigbee led the defensive charge for Savoy and racked up eight tackles in addition to forcing a fumble.
Kevin Gaddy and Michael Vance each had seven tackles, with Dylan Foster close behind with five tackles.
