Betty Snow, Secretary of the Northeast Texas Bicycle Association, spoke to the Friends of the Bonham SNAP Center at their meeting on Thursday, October 7, 2010. She told of the mission and activities of the Association.

Founded by Mike Connors, who couldn't be present, the Association repairs and refurbishes used bicycles and donates them to needy children. Mike has been doing this more than 15 years, over 9 of which have been in the Bonham area.

The Association welcomes donations to help keep bicycles moving to more children. Ms. Snow thanked the Friends for a recent donation to the Association. She was accompanied by Raymond Wegley, an Association technician.
