Mrs. Willie Faye Banker, 83, passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at her residence in the Ubell Community north of Honey Grove.
 
Church services will be 10:00A.M. Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Honey Grove Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Preston Boles and Mr. Jeff Edwards. Burial will follow at Allens Point Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Justin Banker, John Knudsen, Bryan Banker, Phillip Banker, Lee Banker, Steven Banker, Garrett Banker, Chase Banker and Jules Banker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Tyler, Kenneth Jones, Lynn Jones, Jimmy Newhouse, David Newhouse, Larry Dobbs, Henry McElroy, Burl Proctor, Bill Partridge, Jon Gammon, Lester Edwards, Kenneth Kerr and Craig Myracle.

The family will receive family and friends 6 to 8P.M. at the funeral home Sunday, August 15, 2010.

Willie Faye was born July 5, 1927 in Haskell County, Texas to parents, William Bryan Thompson and Ethel Lillian Scott Thompson. She married Clarice Ennis Banker July 13, 1945 in Paris, Texas. Willie Faye was a member of the Self’s Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Samuel Bryan Banker, 5-Brothers, Ellis Thompson, Jack Eugene Thompson and Bobby Wayne Thompson.

Mrs. Banker is survived by her loving husband, Clarice of the home, Children, Emery Banker and wife, Alice of Honey Grove; Carole Knudsen and husband, Roger of Spring, TX; Jackie Banker and wife, Sharon of Ector, TX; Daniel Banker of Honey Grove; Jon Banker of Honey Grove; Bill Banker and wife, Valerie of Honey Grove; Sister, Carolyn Shelton and husband, Tommy of  Sulphur Springs. Grandchildren, Melissa Blount and husband, Zach of Paris; Sara Wisinger and husband, Brady of Clarksville, TX; Amanda Manseau of Honey Grove; Tawand Brewer of Arlington. Great Grandchildren, Allie; Henleigh; Stevie; Melody; James; Lucas; Chabon; Jason; Tatum; Brayden; Mason; William Daniel; and Joseph Samuel. Cousins, nieces,nephews along with a host of friends, neighbors and her Spiritual family in the Lords Church.
