Lyndall Shipman, 76, longtime resident of Honey Grove, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 11, 2010. He passed away at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Memorial services will be 11:00A.M. Saturday August 14, 2010 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove with visitation starting at 10:00A.M. prior to service time. Rev. Nick Holloway will officiate. 

William Lyndall Shipman was born March 4, 1934 in Honey Grove, Texas to parents, Bob Minter Shipman and Minnie Mae Jordan Shipman. He married Ruth Yandell Shipman October 20, 1951 at Petty Baptist Church in Petty, Texas. Mr. Shipman was a farmer.

Lyndall is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of the home, 3 Sons, Jerry Shipman and wife Robin; Ricky Shipman and Wife, Sonya; and Bruce Shipman and Wife, Netti. 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sister Bobbie Freeman and Husband, Jimmy and Brother, John W. Shipman all of Honey Grove.
