The Friends of the Sherman Public Library will hold its Fall Book Sale in conjunction with the Arts Festival in downtown Sherman, on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a preview sale for Friends members only the night before, Friday, September 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Friends have many levels of membership: $15.00 for an individual, $25.00 for a family, $5 for a student, and others.

Funds raised both days by the sale go to support library materials and programs which are available to the general public.

Anyone may drop off donations of books and media for the sale until September 4, 2010.  Donations may be tax deductible.

Other events and activities sponsored in full or in part by the Friends of the Sherman Public Library include Authorfest, Book Reviews, the Summer Reading Program, and Monday Madness Children’s Programs.
