Whitesboro Lady Cats beat Pottsboro, TCS, fall to Frisco Heritage

In pool play at the 2010 Whitesboro Invitational Volleyball Tournament, the Whitesboro Lady Cats picked up impressive wins over Pottsboro and TCS before falling to Frisco Heritage.
 
Whitesboro got off to a strong start in a two-game win over Pottsboro, 25-15 and 25-13.
 
The Lady Cats made it two in a row by beating TCS, 25-13 and 25-16.
 
Frisco Heritage proved they have come to contend for the title by defeating Whitesboro, 25-12 and 25-13.
 
Courtney Davis came up big on offense and defense for Whitesboro head coach Kelly Cherry's Lady Cats by finishing with 14 kills and 11 blocks in the six games.
 
Kortni Dickson had a dozen kills, Katelyn Labhart collected eight kills and Ashley Kirby added six kills.
 
Rachel Urban led the Lady Cats with 14 digs.
 
Becca Mock and Taylor Ezzell handed out 20 assists and 18 assists, respectively.
 
Taylor Crews came up with three digs and Tatum Ezzell had a block.
 
Whitesboro (11-8) will continue play in the Whitesboro Invitational on Saturday.
