The Red River Photo Club will meet Tuesday, September 14, at 6:30pm in the Creative Arts Center 200 W. 5th Street, Bonham, TX.  The Red River Photo Club offers an opportunity for local photographers to meet and share their photographs and experiences as well as improve their skills.

 

September’s meeting promises to be a meaningful event as the Red River Photo Club is honored to have professor Vaughn Wascovich as guest lecturer this month.  Vaughn Wascovich is currently Assistant Professor of Photography at Texas A&M University at Commerce, having also taught at the University of Missouri and Columbia College Chicago. Professor Wascovich has been a member of the Visiting Harvard Scholars Program since 2004. He is a fine-art photographer with an extensive exhibition record and over twenty years experience as a commercial photographer and producer.  Most recently he was awarded a Gary B. Fritz Imagemaker Award from the Society of Photographic Educators, and has participated in more than 70 juried art exhibitions.

 

Red River Photo Club meetings are open to the public and everyone with an interest in Photography is invited to attend this meeting.  Anyone, regardless of photography experience or equipment, is invited to attend and become a member.  Mark your calendars now so as not to miss this opportunity to learn from a preeminent educator and photographer.
