Our employees do a monthly community service project to help give back to those in our community that have needs. These projects go from food drives, sock collection for local nursing homes and school supplies.
During our garage sale for Relay for Life we meet a case manager for Women In Need and asked what can we do to help you? Teresa Calderilla, suggested cleaning supplies; residences receive lots of stuff when they move out, but no one supplies cleaning supplies.
In the true Vista Care Hospice nature we jumped on the opportunity. The staff brought cleaning supplies and we prepared buckets with the supplies to be given to women when they graduate from the resident facility. These buckets will provide women that are starting out on their new lives with what they need to keep their new homes clean.
It is important to us to share our good fortune and to help support those in the community doing such good work.
