The sixth annual “Justice Is Served” is fast approaching.  Proceeds from this dinner and auction will benefit the Fannin County Children’s Center.  The fun will begin at 6:30 pm on Saturday, Sept 11 at the Multi-Purpose Complex on Highway 56 and FM 87, just west of Bonham.   More than twenty different judges and other officials in the justice field will be serving dinner and cold drinks.

The theme of the event is “Evening of Elegance” and organizers are encouraging guests to dress up for this year’s event.  The site of the event recently took a step up in appearance as well when the parking lot was paved.

“Guardian Angel” sponsors for the event include All-Systems A/C & Heating, Ray & Gloria Campbell, Fannin County Special, Glaser Family Charitable Foundation, Henry and Elizabeth Donaghey Foundation and Legend Bank.

“Hero” sponsors for the event are Fannin Bank, Bobby & Karen McCraw, Kwik Chek and McCraw Oil, Joe Moss, Judge of the County Court At Law of Fannin County, Clark & Jill Smith and Sunshine Dental.

The auction will include several handcrafted items, including a patio cooler made by Robert and Sandy Hood and a cedar garden bench made by Judge Alan Hale.  Tickets to the Texas Rangers, FC Dallas Soccer, Hawaiian Falls and Sea World San Antonio will also be us for bid in the auction.  Jewelry, gift baskets, gift certificates, collectibles, homemade goodies and other unique items will also be auctioned off in order to raise more funds for the agency’s programs.  A preview list of auction items can be found on online at www.fanninccc.org.

This patio cooler was made by Robert and Sandy Hood of Bailey. It will be auctioned off at “Justice is Served” on Sept 11 to help raise funds for the Children’s Center.

Proceeds from the event will help sustain the programs of the Children’s Center, including CASA and the Children’s Advocacy Center.  The nonprofit agency’s mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life of the abused, neglected and needy children of Fannin County.

Individual tickets are $35 in advance.  For tickets or more information, call (903) 583-4339 or visit www.fanninccc.org.
