Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Bernita Bernice Parr, age 75, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Brother Brian Everett will officiate the service; interment will follow at Dodd City Cemetery. Mrs. Parr passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence.

Bernita Bernice (Sharb) Parr was born in August 9, 1935 in Clutter Point, TX to parents Matthew and Etta Bridges Sharb. She married Frankie Parr in November of 1950 in Bonham, TX. He preceded her in death in March of 2001. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by children- Eva and Billy Davis of Orange, TX; Glenn Parr of Bonham, TX; Donald and Mary Parr of Telephone, TX; Norma and Dennis Yarborough of Azle, TX; Donna Betts of Bonham, TX; and Linda and Mickey Stubblefield of Balch Springs; brother- Otis Sharb of Lubbock, TX, and sister-Betty Byrd of Bonham, TX; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister-Dorathy Pike, and brothers- M.D. Sharb, and James Sharb.

Pallbearers will be James Ray Davis, Dustin Parr, Victor Hernandez, Chad Williams, Michael Stubblefield, and Cody Loftin. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Ballard and Anthoney Hernandez.

Family visitation will be held at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6-8 P.M.
