Jerrell Edward Bennett

Mr. Jerrell Edward Bennett, age 73, of Lowry Crossing, Texas passed away August 24, 2010, in McKinney, Texas. He was born February 11, 1937, in Bowie, Texas to James Dee and Jewel Loretta (Gibson) Bennett. Mr. Bennett served in the National Guard. On December 31, 1970, he married Wilma Perline Thomason in Dallas, Texas. He was electronic engineer technician for TI for over 38 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Perline Bennett of Lowry Crossing, Texas; daughter, Shannon Horn and husband, Thomas of McKinney; grandson, Justin Horn; sister, Beverly Lyons of San Antonio, Texas; nephew, DeRoy Bennett of Decatur, Texas; and cousin, Dennis Bennett of Jacksboro, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery.
