Tom Bean Mayor Sherry E. Howard and Ryan Gleason of Texoma Council of Governments recently hosted a workshop for the newly appointed members of the Tom Bean Type A and Type B Board of Directors.  The event was held at the Edwards Community Room in the 1st National Bank of Tom Bean.

City Secretary Cathy Pugh was on hand to swear in the new members along with Police Chief Michael Webster in charge of the photo session which followed the workshop session.

With the recent passing of the increase in sales tax in May, this will help stimulate the growth and economic development of the city along while increasing the quality of life for our citizens.
