Texas Department of Transportation officials met with representatives of Stripe-A-Zone, Inc. of Grand Prairie, Texas in a pre-construction meeting to discuss the upcoming inverted profile pavement markings (audible) to be installed on US 377 & SH 11 in Grayson; SH 19 in Hopkins; SH 34 & US 69 in Hunt; US 271 in Lamar; US 271 in Red River; US 69 & 19 in Rains County.

The contractor has been granted 60 working days to complete the project.  The contractor will start setting barricades and signs and begin work on US 377 on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, and progress to the eastern counties after completing Grayson.  Working hours will begin at 6:30 a.m. and proceed until thirty minutes before sunset, Monday through Friday.

This project is a relatively fast moving operation and as such attention to construction signs, flag persons is essential.  Please approach work zones with caution, courtesy and patience through the work zone.
