Recently canceled meetings rescheduled for future dates

McKINNEY, TEXAS (Aug. 20, 2010) – Due to the ongoing investigation and immediacy of a shooting incident at the Public Safety Building on Tuesday, Aug. 17, the City Council meeting scheduled for that evening was canceled.

Most of the items will be moved to a regular City Council meeting on Monday, Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. This meeting will include the normal citizen comment periods. In addition, the work session scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 23 has been canceled. Items from this meeting will be moved to the work session on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

City Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 222 N. Tennessee St. Citizens are encouraged to attend. Agendas are posted online at www.mckinneytexas.org.

Council meetings are aired live and in rebroadcast on McKinney vision, broadcast on AT&T U-Verse channel 99, Time Warner Cable channel 16 in McKinney, and live on the city’s Web site, www.mckinneytexas.org. All meetings are archived for on-demand viewing on the Web site.
