DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University is once again offering the Textbook Reserve Program in an effort to meet the needs of its students.

This third-year program is designed to help offset the financial burden imposed on students by making available -- free of charge -- required textbooks for basic courses.

All students who are enrolled for the Fall 2010 semester are eligible to participate in the program. The textbooks for students on the Durant campus are located in the Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library. Inquiries should be made at the circulation desk.

The textbooks may be checked out from the library staff at the front desk during regular hours  7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; 3 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Students must have valid Southeastern identification and books may be checked out for room use only. Textbooks may be checked out for a 2-hour period, but may not be removed from the library or be checked out overnight.

This year the program has been expanded to make select textbooks available for students at the SE-McCurtain County campus and for SE students at the Ardmore Higher Education Center.
