Rev. Morgan Malone will officiate the service with the assistance of Bro. Kevin Towery. Interment will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Lackey passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Albert Earl Lackey was born in Fannin County, TX on December 11, 1940 to parents D.R. and Eula Brown Lackey. He married Betty Frances Clark on June 10, 1960 in Bonham, TX at the First Baptist Church. He and his brother Billy formerly owned and operated the County Boy Store in Bonham; he was also a transportation manager for McCraw Oil for 15 years.

He is survived by wife- Betty Lackey of Dodd City, TX; son Dean Lackey and wife Lynnette of Dodd City, TX; daughter Terri Spindle and husband Bill of Dodd City, son Tracy Lackey and wife Laura of Bonham, TX; grandchildren Jake, Cole, Marty, Amanda, Justin, Heath, Talor, Hailey, Brittney and Abby; sister Bonnie Richards of Bonham, TX; brothers Raymond lackey of Ivanhoe, TX; and Jackie Lackey of Dodd City, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, and Billy Lackey.

Pallbearers will be Cole Lackey, Jake Lackey, Justin Spindle, Heath Spindle, Thomas Lackey, Brian Lackey, Rodney Lackey, and Craig Richards.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Godbey, Bobby Godbey, David Duncan, Carrol Spiller, Craig Hilliard, Jimmie Horton, Talmadge T. Moore, Jackie Lindsey, Mike Towery, Mark Rattan, Thomas Pearson,  Bob McCraw, Doyce Taylor, Mark Hudson and Marc Kilgore.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Bonham, TX.
